Schedule samples
Please remember, these schedules are just to serve as ideas and inspiration only. Don't copy someone else's schedule because it won't work for your family. Figure out what works best for your family and do that. Glean ideas from these schedules and routines to help you develop a workable routine for your home. If you haven't sent me your schedule yet, email it to me - I'll post as many as I can!
This schedule is a from a single mom: I am a single mom with an 11- and 13-yr-old. I work outside the home 3 days a week. We home school and also maintain a web business.
Mom's Daily Schedule
6:30-7:30 Coffee, prayer, read Bible, e-mail
7:30-8:00 Wake up the children, exercise
8:00-8:30 Cook Breakfast
8:30-9:15 Family Breakfast, and Bible reading
9:15-2:45 3 Days a week I work outside the home. The children,
11 and 13 yrs old do independent school and chores. When I am home I use this
time to oversee school and build web the businesses, sew, package products, ect.
(Laundry and dishes are done during this time by me or the children, depending
on the day and if it is school time or summer.)
2:45-4:15 I help the children with school, we read or work on joint
projects. (Run errands once a week)
4:15-5:00 Prepare dinner
5:00-6:00 Eat and have family bible study
6:00-7:00 Children's showers and my personal time with each child. 30
minutes each
7:00-9:00 Reading, Listen to tapes, devotions with extended family,
movie (depending on the day)
9:00 Children's bed time
9:00-10:00 check e-mail tie up loose ends for the day
10:00-11:00 I go to bed between these times depending on what needs to
be finished.
